The market is flooded with almost new bikes at huge discounts. You're at like $13k+tax for a new 2021 MT09 with cheap panniers and it will only be about 10% as awesome as that bimmer with all of its high end components. The S1000XR is heavier, but it also has 60 more HP and a boat load more torque, larger tires, etc.
